The company VERDARTIS – BIOTECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT is a company focused on the research and development of industrial enzymes based in Ribeirão Preto, in the campus of the University of São Paulo, and is in the process of recruitment of researchers with experience in the areas of molecular biology /biotechnology, chemical engineering and bioinformatics. The compensation will be in the form of scholarships of technical training, connected with CNPq and FAPESP. 1. Protein Engineering.
- COD. EP-1. Scholarship holder TT-V – Professional with doctor’s degree and experience in the area of molecular biology and protein engineering projects.
- COD. EP-2. Scholarship holder TT-IV – Professional with master’s degree and experience with manipulating plasmid DNA and enzymes expression systems in E. coli.
- COD. EP-3. Scholarship holder TT-IV –Professional with masters degree and experience with the construction and tracking of DNA libraries.
- COD. EP-4. Scholarship holder TT-III – Professional graduated in chemistry or biology to provide technical support to the EP group, with experience in the operation and maintenance of molecular biology laboratory equipments, preparation of solutions and growth medium for microorganisms.
2. Enzyme Production
- COD. PE-1. Scholarship holder TT-V – Professional with doctor’s degree in chemical engineering and experience in developing bioprocesses, being responsible for aspects regarding the optimizations of fermentation conditions for the production of enzymes.
- COD. PE-2. Scholarship holder TT-IV – Professional with master’s degree and experience in the areas of chemical engineering, biotechnology or biology, with emphasis on the operation of bench fermenter and analysis of fermentation products.
- COD. PE-3. Scholarship holder TT-IVA – Professional with master’s degree or experienced biochemistry professional to work on the development of the purification protocols and concentration of the enzyme and on the tracking of industrial trials.
- COD. PE-4. Scholarship holder TT-III –Professional graduated in chemistry or biology for technical support to the activities of the EP group, with experience with biochemistry lab equipments or with chemical engineering.
3. Bioinformatics
- COD. BI. Professionals to take scholarships of technical training of FAPESP, in all levels, to work with the development of a simulation software. These professionals must possess the following knowledge: elaboration of Data Bases, C/C++ programming, Linux, Evolutionary Algorithm, molecular simulation (Molecular Dynamic and/or Monte Carlo) and protein structure analysis.
